3 Cottages: The three cottage compound was built on a mid-coast Maine peninsula and was designed to be easily maintained and could be opened/ closed seasonally without much effort. The separation of each cottage allows for the interconnecting deck to act as an outdoor living space. With the sea surrounding the cottages, there are powerful views from every angle making these simple structures truly powerful. This series of coastal cottages won the AIA Maine Design Award in 1989. |

The Ridge House: Named The Ridge House because it was built onto a spine of bedrock to reduce the overall environmental impact, this home is a unique blend of artistic flare and thoughtfulness. This home won the Maine AIA Design Award in 2003, was featured in Portland Magazine in May 2005 and televised on New England Dream House in August 2005. |
