Tower Home, by Wright-Ryan

Elevate the Maine beachfront experience with soaring views

This summer home is truly a coastal Maine retreat. Just steps from the sandy beach, the owners enjoy a fire pit, outdoor cooking, and a cozy screened porch.

The interior of the home is detailed with built-in cabinets and shelving, in addition to one-of-a-kind timber frame elements in the dining area. In the kitchen, an end grain butcher block island is spacious enough to seat the whole family. In the garage and guest home the children to have their very own play area.

Nautical elements – like porthole windows –  emphasize the home’s beachfront locale. The field stone chimney grounds the building solidly in the Maine landscape.

What sets this property apart from other beach homes is its distinctive architecture incorporating a soaring shingle-sided tower. Designed by renowned architects Shope Reno Wharton, the tower not only affords commanding views, it becomes a view to behold itself.

Wright-Ryan Homes has a long tradition of partnering with architects to design and build summer homes that bring out the best in the home, land, and sea.
