Cranberry Ridge, LEED Platinum

Cranberry Ridge, LEED Platinum, by Wright-Ryan

Wright-Ryan is the proud builder of Cranberry Ridge – a home that is outperforming the energy model created in 2005. Ahead of its time in 2005, there were lofty goals established for the construction of this home. Once we purchased the land, assembled the team including the architect, and built the home, we never imagined it would outperform the aggressive energy goals. This home was one of the first in the nation to participate in the LEED for Homes pilot program and went on to become the fourth home in the country to receive Platinum LEED designation and the first in the Northeast.

The Cranberry Ridge home is nestled on 2.62 acres in the woods near Wolfe’s Neck State Park in Freeport. It features solar radiant heat flooring and super-insulation. Wright-Ryan’s Millwork division custom-crafted the kitchen from condensed sunflower hulls.
